The Annual Suzi Bass Awards Ceremony

The Annual Suzi Bass Awards Ceremony brings professionals and patrons of the Atlanta theatre community together to celebrate the theatre season. Theaters participate in a year-long judging process that results in outstanding nominees in 32 categories of plays, musicals, and theatre for young audiences and the winners are honored on the night of the
event.

2022 Suzi Bass Awards Nominations

The Suzi Bass Awards will reveal the winners for the 2021-2022 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, November 14, 2022, to patrons and industry artists.

The Suzi Awards Ceremony will be held at Southwest Arts Center in the City of South Fulton at 915 New Hope Road, Atlanta, GA 30331. The Suzi Nominations were announced at the nomination party on September 27, generously hosted by Synchronicity Theatre at their Annex Space.

Members of the media are invited to attend as guests of the Suzi Bass Awards. Journalists may receive up to two complimentary tickets. Please reply to this email (kate.warner@thesuzis.org) to reserve your press ticket(s). There are a very limited number of press tickets, so please respond quickly!

Tickets to the general public will go on sale soon.

The evening includes awards, performances, red carpet looks and a big outdoor bash.

2019-2020 Suzi Bass Awards Ceremony

Like many theatre communities across the globe, our Atlanta 2019-2020 season was cut short by the global pandemic, and the 2020-2021 season never opened.

But, the process for nominations had been set in motion.

Therefore, in November 2020, The Suzi Awards held a virtual ceremony to give several special awards to important forces in our community.
